Set right on the lagoon in the heart of Fiji's Coral Coast, Bedarra Beach Inn is surrounded by lush gardens leading to the beachfront and provides a relaxing setting. The hotel staff treated us like family. My wife had a cold from boat rides, Mateo fixed her a hot toddy and Pecili made her Lemongrass tea. Shelly, Vinnie, Bulou and Lusia could sing and dance, Mervyin and Save serenaded for our dinners every night. And, the massages were great (Wife said the exfoliating body massage was especially wonderful). The manager, Jiten was very personal as well. We miss them all. There were Island body healers (sisters) down the road (after Crab Shack) which is next to a Russian lady who sells jewelries made of pearls and sea shells.

Quite honestly, the room is way nicer than my own apartment back home so it was nice to have a touch of luxury while on holidays. The cleanliness was top notch as well. The location is good, only 2-3 mins by taxi into town. Onsite cafe makes great food and excellent coffee. The staff are wonderful, nothing was too much to help me with.. be it figuring out the washer or heavy luggage.

For my travels Nadi is just a place for transiting in and out of Fiji when visiting any of the wonderful resorts and sites around the Main Island of Viti Levu or the West Coast Island Groups.

Good town for outdoors
My Husband and I are from Fiji but we're not to familiar with the Western Part of Viti Levu or Sigatoka. We had planned certain trips like to the Kula Bird Eco Park and Sand Dunes then found some good food at different places around Sigatoka. It's a nice town and Geckos is smack dab in the middle of Nadi and Sigatoka. So if you're up for a trek on the Sand Dunes that's a 5 min drive from the resort, Kula Bird is about 20 mins and Natadola Beach is 30 mins away. So it's the perfect affordable area to stay if you wanna catch the sights and activities in the Western Part of Viti Levu. Also Sigatoka is home to wicked curry restaurants (the side of the road, hole in the wall best food you'll eat kind of places) and the best thrift or op shopping on Viti Levu.

Location, ease of access and transport, grounds very well maintained all make for a great place to stay. The location just on the west coast of Viti Levu meant that it avoided most of the cloud that formed over the central mountains.

Easy and not too expensive to get around by taxi. Not much to see and do though, other than shopping, we use it mainly for overnight stays on arrival or before flying out of Fiji. Lots of cheap eating places if you like the local food. For beaches and watersports, it's better to go to other islands or other parts of Viti Levu.

The resort is not too crowded unless there's a large dive group staying. Lovely pool with a swim up bar. The food and meals are especially good. Some of the best anywhere in Fiji!

This is my second time coming to Suva motor inn and I just love how simple and amazing the place is. It’s across the road from Albert park and is super quiet and not crowded like other hotels. The beautiful beach right in front of the resort. They have free activities throughout the day. Staff are very welcoming and the resort is cozy and friendly. The breakfast is included and food is mostly good.

After my visit i think people should ignore previous reviews. The stay was amazing. Staff was generously kind & cooperative. Rooms are spacious and very well ventilated with clean linen. Air conditioning worked well, TV was working, kettle was there with ample supply of packed tea coffee & milk. Hot water and towels were also provided. I am completely satisfied and my next visit will only be in this hotel. I don't know how it got bad ratings and I guess in this price point the hotel is doing pretty well.
