The food was outstanding. There is a sports field across the street which was great for walking the dog. It also meant we weren't overlooked. This is a hotel that deserves a return stay in the future.

Set in a meander of the Vézère River, Hôtel Joyet de Maubec is located in Uzerche. It features a restaurant and free WiFi access is all areas. The property is STUNNING and Thierry is amazing. He is very kind, he made us feel so welcome, the hotel restaurant was closed while we were there so he pre-booked us at another restaurant in town. I am so happy we decided to stay here instead of in Limoges because the town was so stunning. Also, Thierry has a dog Omega who is the cutest and makes you feel right at home. It has all of the best vibes of a classic french Chateau with modern amenities. I look forward to staying here again.

We found the quality of service that we expected from a reputable chain, but the staff are all most friendly and give the hotel a real soul. We ate in the hotel on the Monday evening, and again were pleasantly surprised. There aren't many restaurants in the area (close to the University), and noted that several diners came from outside. There was a good menu, and although the décor is that of a modern hotel, the experience was as good as in any restaurant.

Limoges is a beautiful little gem in the Limousin region of France. It's perfect for a short stay and dose of French culture. There are many typical french restaurants and some nice bars to try out. Le Quartier de la Boucherie is something special, like taking a step back in time to Medieval Limoges. The old city around the Cathedral is also very special! I would highly recommend visiting here!

The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Not too far from train station. Nice neighborhood with an organic grocery store nearby. It is also around the corner from one of the funkiest bars we've ever encountered Bar Le Limousin. Breakfast was lovely with a large selection of goodies. Overall It was comfortable enough to allow us to enjoy Limoges.

This place has the BEST cheeseboard I've ever seen. I fact if you're eating in the restaurant ask to see the cheeseboard first because you'll want to leave plenty of room Our dogs were welcome in the room and in the restaurant, and the grounds are wonderful for dog walking
