Di sungai Rio Dulce dekat sebuah kastil abad ke-16 semenanjung Tortugal Boutique River Lodge bermandikan oleh hampir konstan pada angin pantai yang menyediakan tempat yang dingin dan menyegarkan. What did we like? All of it! The rooms are tastefully decorated. They were very comfy, despite being in the middle of nature. Attentive staff, picked us up to and fro Rio Dulce. Good food, cold beers. Very refreshing to be able to jump in the river when hot!

El Hotelito Perdido adalah tempat persembunyian hutan kecil yang terletak di tengah-tengah Taman Nasional Rio Dulce. Hotelito Perdido provides a great atmospheric stay at a riverside jungle lodge. The facilities combine rusticity with comfort. The vegetarian food is tasty and plentiful, and the communal dinners are lovely. There are plenty of excursions available and kayaks on hand at reasonable prices for independent exploration. Highly recommend!

Hotel Posada Stella Maris di Puerto Barrios mempunyai akomodasi bintang 5 dengan taman dan lounge bersama. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Huge suite with 2 balconies. The kids were very happy to have their own seperate bedrooms! Beautiful and clean pool.

Casa Nostra mempunyai taman, lounge bersama, teras, dan bar di Lívingston. Loved the beautiful location. Stuart and Abby were both amazing with advice about activities and logistics. So awesome. I also thought the staff at the restaurant, especially Jose Luis and Fernando who are connected to AK Tenemet, were terrific. Great food too!

Terletak di Rio Dulce, Hotel Kangaroo y Restaurante mempunyai taman, lounge bersama, bar, dan WiFi gratis di seluruh area akomodasi. This was consistently the best food we had during our whole stay in Guatemala. The common lodge was so homey and inviting. We loved hearing the rain on our tin roof in our building. Bonus: The ferry to Livingston left directly from the Hotel pier. It was wonderful.

Hotel El Reformador di Puerto Barrios mempunyai akomodasi bintang 4 dengan taman, teras, dan bar. Staff was super friendly. Incuded breakfast was very good. Great shower with good water pressure.
