I would love to have seen more tall trees in such a massive space. The only thing that limited was the vegan food options. I will miss you Crover House. The Cabra Castle is an awesome experience. The building, the grounds, the decor, the paintings, the food and the staff - wow! It was just like a fairytale.

I just picked this place randomly for one night on my way back to the Belfast airport. What a wonderful surprise it was! Highly recommend this property to everyone staying in the area

Situated in Cavan, within 17 km of Maudabawn Cultural Centre and 25 km of Monastery of Kells, The Bailie features accommodation with a bar and as well as free private parking for guests who drive. On first impression you would think a 2 star would be sub standard parts of it is just the decor & well worn setting in the front bar however the rooms are of a 4 star quality ( brand new refurbished) there is alot to aesthetically but the welcome we recieved was second to none nothing was a problem . The beds are super comfortable along with an excellent shower & complimentary toiletries/ tea coffee . The food was great value for money and the burgers delicious, staff although all young had excellent customer service skills . We had to leave early and the chef came in 1hr earlier to ensure we had a breakfast, and gave us fresh fruit salad and homemade scones to go . Thanks to Pat for opening up the dining room earlier . We will definitely return .

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. one of the best hotel I have ever been so far.Excellent customer service.Everyone works in hotel so sweet,friendly and professional.Lovely,quite,spotless clean rooms.And excellent spa and gym.The best breakfast and chef in whole Ireland who certainly deserve michelines stars.I really enjoy every second there.Thank you for all.Ten stars stay.

They are so naturally welcoming, kind and accommodating. You just feel this friendly atmosphere around. Nothing is ever a problem.

Beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. It was a relaxing night away. We had a 3 course meal in Maxwells Grill which was 10/10- the fillet steak and fishcake I would highly recommend. We also had some fab cocktails afterwards. Orla working on reception was so welcoming- a ray of sunshine who made us both smile.
