I booked this property because I was trying to avoid driving and parking in a large city. I honestly didn't expect it to be very nice as it was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our visit to Ireland. I loved that the hotel was out in the countryside and there was plenty of parking. Every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. We arrived just before dinner and the desk agent offered to book a table in the restaurant for us. She assured me that we would love it and we did. Our waiter was charming and our dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant was very busy and it looked like it was a popular choice with the locals. Our room was large and it was very clean, modern and quiet. The bathroom was great with lots of counter space and good lighting. Breakfast was very nice with many options to pick from including several items that were prepared to order. Overall, the hotel was a great choice and a great value.

Located 2 km from Letterkenny, County Donegal, the historic Rockhill House offers accommodation in a Manor House set in 100 acres of woodlands. The location was exceptional - the space, the fresh air the gardens all stunning. And its close to Letterkenny town - but not in the business of it. Breakfast was superb. Rooms extremely comfortable.

Everything about the hotel and venue was spectacular. The only fault we had is that our magnificent room was next to the elevator, which, of course, operated all night. It wasn't horribly loud, but it was a bit annoying.

We particularly enjoyed the convenience of having the restaurant and pub located downstairs. What truly made our experience memorable was the warm hospitality extended to us. We were graciously invited to join in the celebration of a staff member's 50th birthday, instantly making us feel like part of the community.
