The family-run Westenra Arms Hotel is located in the heart of Monaghan Town. It offers free Wi-Fi, luxurious rooms with garden views and 2 restaurants serving award-winning food. This was an amazing hotel! Perfect location for our needs, right in town and next door to a fantastic pub "The Squealing Pig" where our event was taking place and not far from our family gathering in Rockcorry. (BTW the Squealing Pig was very accomodating to our very Vegan daughter and her infant son); The staff at the hotel was pleasant and accomodating. The breakfast was fantastic with a full menu of options The town has a nice mall and shopping options; we had our laundry done down the street and back the same day if you get it there early. The Monaghan Museum was fantastic (they are moving to a new location down the street. The restaurants were great and we especially were impressed with 'Eastern Balti House' with the best service and great food!

Situated in Monaghan, within 34 km of Maudabawn Cultural Centre and 44 km of Ballyhaise College, Corness House B&B features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking... Pauline was a lovely host. The rooms are large, spacious and clean. Big comfy beds for a great night's sleep in a quiet location. The breakfast was superb.

20 village square Glaslough is situated in Glaslough, 42 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre, and features a terrace, garden, and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. This was perfect for our group of friends. Everything was clean and tidy and lots of space. Beds were extremely comfy. Will hopefully be back.

Situated in Latton and only 7.6 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre, Greenfields Country House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Madeleine is the most lovely and attent host, the breakfast was amazing.

Lynster House provides rooms in Milltown, a 3-minute drive from Monaghan. The property is situated 10 km from Castle Leslie. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at this property. The breakfasts were wonderful! The host tweaked recipes, and the food that she prepared was pleasing to the eye as well as delicious. It was also very plentiful! Indoors or out, you will be surrounded by beauty at this B & B! The host was very helpful. If this is the first place you stay at on your vacation, you might be tempted to use it as the standard to compare the rest!
