Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... Lovely lady at reception. Was a very warm welcoming person and a great choice for front of house. Facilities were great, easily organised things with reception. Good rooms with large mirrors and parking with in view of the room. In the town and yet it doesn't feel that way. Lovely area and would visit again.

Great stay, only 1 night but made the most of the sauna. Staff friendly, food amazing, rooms luxurious. Walked the grounds to the pond, saw swans, cows, really relaxing stay.

I got upgraded to a Bridal Suite Room for no reason & it made my night! Was very special & a real treat for me so thank you so very very much to the lovely lady at the check in desk!
