Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. We came early because of a future storm, the staff was so nice and they let us to check in early.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Lovely small hotel in a beautiful location. You can park next to the hotel for free, the breakfast is good and the shower is one of the best we have had here with good pressure.
