Anna had given us a warm welcome, helped us with our trip preperations and was the best host we could ask for! We loved the place so much, we decided to stay one more night here

Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. The room temperature was quite high surprisingly. The floor heating was strong and stable when you consider the weather condition. The bed was quite comfy with a lot of pillows. The rooms were stylish. Breakfast and dinner hall was so cute and meals were so delicious, especially the dinner.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. The place is so beautiful decorated and the staff is very friendly and professional. We highly recommend hotel Egilsen

One of the better hotels we encountered in iceland that had a great value for money. Great location, kind staff and very good breakfast. Nice views from the room.

Helgrindur Guesthouse offers accommodation in Grundarfjordur. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Each room is equipped with a free WiFi. It was great location and amazing space-comfortable, cozy and clean. I loved everything about it and would recommend for sure. It is so comfortable to have little kitchen, sink in the room, dining table, big bed and spacious bathroom

Located in the country side, Hotel Stundarfridur offers accommodation 12 km from Stykkishólmur. This property provides guests with a terrace. There is also a restaurant and a shared lounge. Location was pretty amazing to rest. View in the morning was great. Close to town

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Arnarstapi Hotel offers accommodation in Snæfellsbær. The Cliffs of Arnarstapi and the village port are just a few minutes' walk away. Due to bad weather conditions we were forced to stay here, but I am very grateful for the staff, especially Ana, the manager, for being kind and compassionate with us. If we have not stopped there we would have been forced to wait out the weather induced roadblocks elsewhere possibly in our car. Otherwise the room was nice especially the view.

A lonely place with an excellent restaurant and a historical ambience, good for exploring Snaefellsnes and the peninsula. Walking, hiking, a beautiful waterfall just across the valley, visible from the lounge, the ocean nearby, good for a trip watching northern lights and generally a very quiet and comfortable resting place. Very helpful staff.
