Hotel in Wadi Musa
Infinity Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Wadi Musa. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and free shuttle service. Had the most wonderful stay at Infinity Lodge. Wonderful and attentive hosts, great food, very nice decor, good water pressure for the shower, fast internet in the rooms and the view from my balcony at night was incredible. As a solo female traveller I felt super safe. It's a 15 mins walk downhill to the visitors' entrance in Petra. Compared with the other hotels with standard hotel room decor, this one had a nice boutique feel with its white stone walls and warm coloured rugs. Super comfortable bed and the nice terrace is a great place to work, chill, have shisha and coffee. The cooks can make some great vegetarian dishes.

The point of Wadi Musa is that it is near Petra. Not especially friendly and prices are high by Jordanian standards. The bus to Aqaba was supposed to cost 5 dinars each but we were charged 35 for two as we were the only passengers.
There are no tourist shops, only local stores. All souvenirs need to be bought inside Petra, but you can negotiate prices to at least half price. There's only street parking. It's a very convenient city to see the beautiful area of Petra. It's nice to have a car, since the city is on mountainous roads. If you're walking then you will be going up and down hills. You can rent taxis, though.
Loved Wadi Musa it is right at the entrance to Petra. The hotel was cheap clean And clostest to the entrance of Petra. The Jordanians are so friendly. The town is fun to be in and the people go out if their way to make you feel at home.
2 days at Petra is perfect. Do some of the short stuff when you first get her like swing the treasury, then spend the entire second day going to the Monastery and High Temple of Sacrifice. A warning though, the hikes are pretty hard so if you aren’t decently fit then I’d only do one hard hike per day. Also, be ready for people to try to sell you something every 10 feet on EVERY trail. If you are smart, and we weren’t, just pretend like they are not there. If seems mean, but if you don’t youll be broke have way in to Petra.
Greta village outside Petra. Felt welcomed, and completely safe even walking around at night. Restaurants seem to offer the same general type of food, but the places we tried were both excellent.
Great little city with a budding tourism industry. Many nice, inexpensive restaurants. Petra is breathtaking, of course. The Jordanians are amazing — so friendly and hospitable. Just a tip, make sure you get a fair price on taxis and ask the price BEFORE you go. The drivers we had were fair but there are always a few bad apples.
Wadi Musa it’s a good place to visit , with out Petra mars camp staff ,, I had no idea about this , but I went there to stay and they offer me , to visit it , so it was lovely
If you want to see Petra by night, you must also visit Petra by day the same day or they won't let you in. Seeing Petra by day and by night is worth the money. The price for guides seems high but really they work really hard climbing, helping you and enduring the long stretch in the heat. Getting a guide is helpful. Some guides will give a lower rate outside the gate if you really can't afford the 50 dinar.
Wadi Musa
Petra inbox Hostel truly exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The inbox were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The food was simply divine, with a wide range of tasty dishes to choose from. The hostel location was also perfect, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, I would highly recommend petra inbox to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
At Dana Trails Hotel, the sunset views and nights are amazing. The warm hospitality, especially from the friendly Bedouin staff, adds a special touch. Plus, don’t miss the Jordanian food made by the perfect cooker ! Please have dinner at the hotel ! We have eaten at a lot of restaurant during 10days of Jordanian roadtrip and the dinner at the hotel was by far the best !!!! And it is the perfect location to visit the Dana reserve and Petra ! The views are perfect really just go there !!
- Great location, only 5 minutes walk from the entrance to Petra - Hotel has its own parking off the street - Rooms are spacious and very clean - Lunch boxes are available for 8 JOD, which was great value. We couldn't eat the whole lunch box in one day, it was so much. The hotel gave us, per box: 2 sandwiches (can be made vegetarian on request), bottle of water, juice pack, 2 fruits, crisps, muffin/cake, tissues - Friendly staff Would definitely recommend!
Reasonably small modern hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Room and bathroom were immaculate. Comfortable bed and good complimentary mini bar. Decent breakfast options with stunning view. Hotel offers shuttle to and from Petra visitor centre, which was very convenient. Good location with multiple nice restaurants within minutes walking distance. Recommend staying here if visiting Petra. (Despite near-by conflict, Jordan is incredibly safe to visit.)
Aţ Ţayyibah
The property is off the overcrowded Wadi Musa (Petra), beautifully serene located but with easy access to and direct parking. Its about 9-10 km from the Petra Visitors Center and the road there is well maintained and easy to drive. The Hostel - it really is a Hotel! - is a welcoming and warm Family business and run with absolute kindness and authenticity! The sunsets for the sensational home made traditional dinners are a highly recommended must do!
Wadi Musa
The hostel's location is a major plus, being just a 5-minute drive from the Petra visitor center. This convenience is excellent for those eager to explore the archaeological wonders of Petra without a lengthy commute. Rafiki Hostel also offers good value for money, making it a budget-friendly choice for travelers. The rooftop provides a pleasant surprise, offering a nice view, creating a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploration.
We recently stayed at Petra Premium Hotel and had a comfortable experience overall. The room was impeccably clean, and I particularly appreciated the freshness of the linens, especially the towels which seemed brand new. Ahmed and Mohammed from the staff were incredibly accommodating, providing valuable insights for our trip to Petra. My only suggestion would be to consider expanding the breakfast options. Overall, a positive stay!
What an amazing hotel. We booked last minute because the Grand Mercure was closed and we are so happy that it was. The Petra Canyon Hotel is the place to be if you want to be close to Petra. Abdullah and Ahmad were lovely and gave us all of the information we needed for Petra. The room was lovely and had everything we could have wanted. We ordered room service which was quick and tasty.
Wadi Musa
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Asad Apartment. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely helpful with advice for reaching the Monastery at Petra via the back entrance. The room was clean and comfortable. The common room on the roof that was used for dining was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. The breakfast was delicious. This place was an excellent value.
The location of the hotel is great, especially after returning from a long walk in Petra. It is right at the main entrance to Petra. It has secure parking if you are driving. Hotel has a little bar (not cave bar) and Mr. Amer made us unique and delicious cocktails at there. The stuff was so hospitable and kind. Breakfast and dinner was good. Special thanks to Mr. Amer.

The hotel provides good value, with clean, comfortable rooms, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade. The location was perfect. The rooftop restaurant was perfect and had an incredible view of the city. The food was delicious. The service in the restaurant was wonderful. All attendants were very helpful. If another night had been available, we would have stayed another night. We LOVED our stay at Petra Moon Hotel.
Location of hotel is very close to entrance of Petra. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Owners have several hotel in area and upgraded our stay to Petra Moon Hotel with view of Petra. They made the transition easy and added complimentary dinner and breakfast.

Wadi Musa
Hotel is 2min away from the main entrance to Petra. Owner is a nice guy, he briefed us about Petra and they was very helpful. We booked with breakfast but since we left very early to Petra never got any chance to try it. Room was not wow, very tiny but clean and neat.
Wadi Musa
Very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in good location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nizar was always available to answer any questions and make arrangements if I needed them. The apartment is very clean. I can highly recommend Petra Rose Apartment 🌹
Super clean and comfy stay at the H Luxury Hotel, from the person who assisted us to the person who dropped out bags were extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend 10/10 and if visiting Petra this hotel is literally 5 mins by walk.
Staff was extremely friendly, especially Fadi! We received an amazing welcome, and everyone was happy to help. Rooms are also great (recommend triple room). Truly amazing! Thank you, P Quattro Relax Hotel for making our stay in Petra amazing.
Great and helpful staff enthusiatic about the job. Hotel is just a stone throw from the Petra main entrance with lots of restaurants and shops around 👍 I can only recommend to book and stay there while visiting the beautiful Petra 😎🫵
The manager and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m strongly recommend this hotel to stay during Petra. I live in Jordan already 2 years, Petra Plaza Hotel is the best hotel I have stayed in Jordan.
