Maitai Rangiroa is located between the villages of Avatoru and Tiputa, on one of the largest lagoons in the Southern Hemisphere. Great location, nice infinity pool with the sea view! Good breakfast and amazing restaurant for dinner! Food is really delicious. Very nice personnel, always try to help if you need something! Good snorkelling just nearby the Hotel's beach.

Situated in Avatoru, Te Mao has a garden, terrace, water sports facilities, and free WiFi. Each room is equipped with a balcony. I like the sea view, the quiet time to relax and snorkle. The possibilities to rent a bike and the owner being so nice driving me around to grocery store and airport.

Featuring garden views, Chez Taia et Véro in Tiputa offers accommodation with free use of kayaks and bikes, barbecue facilities and a garden. Complimentary WiFi is provided. We had a really good time at Taia and Véros place. Even though the room is quite small when all beds are occupied we really liked the terrasse and kitchen areas. For us it was really nice with the washing machine, it needed a gently touch and worked fine. It was a bit away from the small town, so it was amazing we had bicycles available to use for all family - it made it easy to get around. The small beach close by is fine for snorkeling and easy accesible for swimmers. We would definately recommend people to stay with Taia and Véro if the need a pricefriendly stay in Rangiroa :-)

Situated in Avatoru in the Rangiroa region, Poe Guesthouse features a terrace and inner courtyard views. This guest house features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. We loved the location, the privacy of the bungalow, the outdoor patio, there was an option to cook and the shared spaces were also nice. Plus we loved our host Hinano, she picked us up at the airport, showed us around town, she made us breakfast every morning with care, she attended to our every need, really went out of her way to help us on occasions! We are very grateful for having the opportunity to stay here.

Chez Guy, vue sur l'océan is situated in Tiputa and offers free bikes and a garden. The property has inner courtyard views. We expected our stay in Tiputa to be slightly off the beaten path - and it was, for the best of it! The property is at the "remote" end of the village, on the ocean shore - enjoy the noise of breakers during the night! First floor, nice view. No light pollution - enjoy the view of the Milky Way at night. Beyond the beauty of Rangiroa (expected), we were warmly welcome by the owner's family, who did everything to make us feel at home. Bread, butter, jam were offered for breakfast, and the "restaurant" they recommended was... the neighbor's yard, with 4 tables and a "beware of the dog" sign on the porch. The dog is nice and well-behaved, the cook very friendly and focused on healthy local dishes with fresh (garden-plucked) ingredients, which were outstanding (and more than decently priced)! Thank you for everything, this was a highlight of our vacation in Tahiti.

The host and their family were very friendly, helpful and thoughtful people. We would definitely recommend staying there. They also offer excursions. Rangiroa Cottage is situated in Avatoru and offers a garden, a bar and barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. This place is beautiful, very comfortable and extremely well located. I was in both of the high-end hotels on Rangiroa during my stay, and I felt that Rangiroa Cottage was just as nice. If you prefer the independence of staying in a home, then this is a far superior option. On top of that, it is much cheaper.

Located in Avatoru, Rangi Pearl Lodge features free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities. This holiday home provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Fantastic property, very new and clean. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s such a small island so everything is close. I highly recommended the pizza just down the road or fish and chips and chez rua! Airport pickup is an absolute dream.

Located in Tiputa in the Rangiroa region, Moana Breeze Eco Lodge features a patio. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Moana Breeze was the perfect place to end our honeymoon. Marco and Enrica (and their friendly dog Iggy) were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are warm, accommodating, and incredibly interesting and accomplished people, with tons of information and stories to share. They are also incredible cooks, and made us the two best meals we had on our whole trip :) The property is also lovely, with lots of thoughtful environmental touches, a well stocked kitchen, access to bikes, and a fresh-baked baguette every morning. We would highly highly recommend staying here!! The only note is that since the Moana Breeze is on Tiputa, you will need to arrange water/land taxis in order to do activities on Rangiroa - but Marco and Enrica are always happy to help arrange those for you, and Tiputa is gorgeous and charming and very worth the extra effort :)
