The moment I passed the gate, I instantly regretted staying for only 1 night! Coming from the street you step into a hidden garden/oasis, right in the middle of town. The room with en-suite was very comfortable with window opening onto another small courtyard with many trees, real gem of inner garden. Access to a well maintained communal kitchen was the added bonus.

Paule and Patrick are very welcoming! Jacuzzi is great to relax after a long hike on Piton De La Fournaise Patrick's tips are great and helpful to get around the island and breakfast is delicious and beyond expectations. We ended up regretting not staying here the whole of our trip in Reunion

Breakfast tray left on each bedroom/ studio terrace early morning with croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, yoghurts, jam and fruit. We absolutely loved our stay at La Cariole! The hosts were so lovely, kind and generous! We had a wonderful evening with them eating their delicious home cooked food and home brew Rum! We got to see the hosts preform some beautiful dances and they got us up dancing too! Could not recommend this property enough - very close drive to the beach! Thank you so much for everthing!
