Good equipped supermarket "Cazou" near by in Santa Maria by taxi for 4€. Beautiful Melia resort / pools with nice staff and reasonable prices for drinks / eat a la carte is good if wished from time to time. Nearby tropical garden Vivero is extremely beautiful to visit. Also beaches nearby. Golf course nearby. Green Fee around 100 € + Equipment to rent. I relaxed alot there. Santa Maria town is beautiful with dream beaches and locations for eat and drink for 4€ by taxi / 5€ later at night. Fresh meat is exceptional tasty good by CV animals at Cazou supermarket. No factory farming at Cabo Verde.

Amazing breakfast, a lot of options, and staff really nice always ready to help with everything we need. The best hotel I have been so far. My flight was late and they offer us a room to have a shower for 30 min at the end of the day.

Pool never too busy. Overall, as a couple without children, so much nicer than being in a huge anonymous resort that sends profits overseas!

The quality of the accommodation and the helpfulness of the staff are both outstanding, Staff were very helpful and booked taxi transports and day trips efficiently without drama.
