A quiet haven in the heart of North Devon, this 15th-century former coaching inn is 34 miles from Tintagel Castle, the rumoured birthplace of King Arthur. This was a great place to stay and very convenient for travelling to different parts of Devon and Cornwall. The accommodation was perfect. We were able to make our own breakfast and everything was provided had we wanted to cook other meals. The on-site restaurant was good too.

In 125 acres of stunning grounds, this resort has a 9-hole golf course with beautiful views towards Dartmoor and Exmoor and over 40 different activities. The location is amazing, the Manor House is great and we really enjoyed having tea in the Morning Room. The staff was friendly and very attentive, especially in the restaurant. There is an excellent amount of activities to choose from, so it's hard to get bored even on a rainy day. The spa facilities were great, the food was very tasty and our room was cosy and very clean. Very useful app that lets you track the activities for the day! The only thing we didn't get was the complementary glass of fizz we were supposed to receive at dinner when we pre-booked, but we didn't mention this to the waiters, so that's also our fault! In no way has this affected our experience.

Adventure Lodges and Retreats se află în Bideford și include un bar și un restaurant. It was everything we needed for a base and the bed were very comfortable abd it was very quiet at night so relax and sleep. Lots of activities available if needed. Even suitable for little children too.

The hosts were more than helpful to us throughout the whole stay despite a change in circumstances. The premises were lovely and well stocked, and we could not have asked for anything more.

A beautiful little cabin, feels nice and homely and has everything you could possibly need, the board games were a lovely touch me.

The chalet was just like the photos, and it was really nice to have coffee, tea, biscuits, and bread for toasting. It was totally unexpected but gratefully received. There was also a great selection of games and toys. Which made our short stay extra special. We definitely want to come back in the summer.
