The location of the hotel in the Place du Capitole is dramatic and convenient, though the rooms do not look out to the square. The rooms are clean and fairly comfortable, perhaps slightly cramped but well equipped with a good bathroom. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was a good quality buffet.

France’s 4th largest city, Toulouse abounds with beautiful red-brick buildings that have earned it the nickname Pink City. The focal point is Place du Capitole, a large square lined by restaurants and the grand Capitole building which is spectacularly lit at night. Equally impressive at night is the Pont-Neuf, a 16th-century bridge spanning the Garonne River.
This remarkably green city has many tree-lined boulevards and parks offering shade. It has a laidback, almost alternative vibe, perhaps due to its huge student population. The cuisine is also fantastic – try the regional duck and the cassoulet.
Must-see Toulouse sights include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed, 10th-century Basilica of Saint Sernin and the Georges Labit Museum, a fascinating collection of Asian and Egyptian artefacts. Record-breaking Stade Toulousain rugby union club is also based here – catch a match to experience the Gallic passion.
Out by Lasbordes Airport is Cité de l’Espace, a space-themed amusement park, particularly suited to young children. Another aviation-related feature is the city’s main industry - the Airbus-EADS factory, just north of Toulouse Blagnac Airport. Book in advance for a tour that includes the Airbus A380 production line.
To complete your stay, Booking.com has a range of Toulouse accommodation from hostels to motels and hotels.

Toulouse is a brilliant city with many things to do, yes it is expensive but we had an amazing time and visited many galleries and museums. I would highly recommend buying the Tourist pass as we saved a lot of money.

It is so easy to get around.
It is so easy to get around. As expected, it feels more like a "real life city" than the craziness of Paris. More French people than tourists from 'all over'. It was busy in the shopping areas and restaurants, but it did not feel over-crowded.

Toulouse is a large and very vibrant city, with plenty of art, architecture, history, and music. We go for the opera, and I have not taken an opportunity to explore beyond the Place du Capitole. Driving can be difficult because of one-way streets at crazy angles, and the GPS is never up to date as roads are closed and directions are changed.

When going out from the hotel I had the feeling I was already in someone else’s way like a pedestrian or even a car. At the same time , I was next to a restaurant table and trash containers. Beware of dog poo everywhere.
Overall I found this city to be quite dirty and not taken care of properly.
The things I liked were the historical places like the convent, the churches and the capitole. It is also nice to see small businesses supporting local artists and artisans.

Beautiful city with old architecture, especially in the old center. Very lively in the evening, especially considering the number of students who work and live in the city. Central to South-West France, there is a very large choice of very good restaurants for all budgets.

Beautiful city - lovely historic buildings and the river and canal walks were excellent.
Great selection of places to eat and drink and the city citizens were friendly and welcoming.
Was great to see how many people used non fossil fuel forms of transportation and the public transport was super efficient and inexpensive
We had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights whilst travelling across France. The hotel staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and functional.
The location was close to local shops, supermarkets and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. It was easy to get to the city centre for sightseeing and it is close to transport links.
The hotel supplied an excellent breakfast and lovely pool. This was most welcome during a 40°C heat wave. Highly recommended.
Great location and easy to get to from the main train station or airport. City centre only 20 mins walk away! Staff were first class, friendly but also very helpful.
The room was amazing, so big and with a kitchen area which was very useful! Beds were comfy and very big and towels of good quality. Although you had to pay extra if you wanted the room cleaned, for 3 nights we didn’t need it. however you could always get more clean towels if required. Never used this chain before but will look to use again
The location of this hotel, next to the toulouse train station, is excellent. Toulouse is highly walkable and the hotel is in the center of town so you can walk to the place capitole, down to the river garonne or just about anywhere. The train station is a five minute walk. This hotel is great for families - we were four in a one bedroom and requested a supplemental bed. The lounge area had lots of fun games for the kids and a foosball table they were obsessed with.
Lovely fully equipped and clean room for an affordable price. The host was amazing and went above and beyond for us. The hotel was about a 6 minute walk to the bus stop which would get you to the centre of Toulouse. If you don’t want to get the bus in, it is about a 20 minute walk. The room has cooking facilities so handy if you want to make your own meals (we did not use this so unable to comment further). Excellent shower
It is located near toulouse city centre & 5 minutes walk from Compans cafarelli metro station in a quiet(ish residential area.
Close to some other facilities to eat & connections to the city centre by bus & metro at €1.80 for a single ticket.
Also at the station is the Tisseo express Airport shuttle at €9.
Very good value for money, clean & well equipped for a few days stay.
The breakfast was very pleasant and had all the elements to please both American and European tastes. The running and walking trails were right out the door and offered miles of trail to the center of Toulouse. My luggage was lost and the staff was not only completely empathetic but also assisted me in calling Air France to try and find it.
The hotel is very new, very clean. Good thermal insulation and very quiet air conditioning.
The location is close to the center and the conference center. The shuttle bus stop to/from the airport is in ~500m.
Quiet street. Large time span for breakfast (6-10, 7-11 on weekends), good choice of food, only they have not many vegetables.
We liked this hotel. We stayed at a B&B hotel just outside La Rochelle, and the room was smaller. This room was bigger and more comfortable, and there were two extra pillows. Breakfast was good (about the same). Location of this hotel was excellent for us - convenient for the airport bus, and walkable to the city center.
what an amazing stay! very clean, great location and the most helpful and friendly staff. I was very kindly upgraded to a superior room by the staff at reception, the room was spotless with all amenities you could need. Great location in the city centre. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toulouse.
Amazing hotel right in the centre of Toulouse. Loved the room, super modern & clean, very well equipped, lovely staff & great roof terrace. This hotel is super cool - would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a quirky, modern hotel. Loved it. Try the pizza’s on the roof terrace- they’re incredible!
The room was spacious and warm, the bed was very comfortable.
Everything was clean and tidy.
The hotel is opposite the Gare Matabiau which was very convenient as we arrived by train.
Breakfast buffet had a good variety of items.
The hotel booked the taxi to the airport for the next morning for us.
No fuss hospitality, conveniently located in nice decor building. Good breakfast for a budget range hotel. Free parking is a bless in France. Nothing particularly different - you've been to one Ibis Budget, you've been to all of them :)
Great central location and exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast and everything you need for a short stay in Toulouse. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the stop for the shuttle bus to the airport.
Love this sweet hotel. Not only is it beautifully designed, has an amazing bed and an incredible bar/restaurant, the staff are so helpful. We will always stay here when visiting Toulouse! Can’t wait to go back!
location, convenient for transport from airport, walking round city centre, good breakfast, helpful staff, room fine, comfortable bed ( not always the case in France!)
