I would love to give this place a higher rating because it's a beautiful place, but we had a few issues. We liked the pool and the common area, the staff was nice and the restaurant inside offers a decent breakfast. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet.
It has great potential to improve.

Amazing quiet place within a close proximity of the Tulum downtown. Rooms were really clean and we even got a free upgrade to a better room upon arrival. Peter in the lobby was an amazing person, helping us with everything we needed, giving us tips and always greeting us with a smile!

Location was great, sunbeds on the water were amazing and very relaxing throughout the day.
It does take a day or two to settle in and the food at the hotel is good considering the price. Be prepared to pay higher than normal pricing.
The front staff helped us with an issue in room booking, the room we were assigned Posideon was very noisy with music.

Tulum is literally amazing, I would recommend it to everyone. Some of the best places to visit while there : Gran Cenote, Tulum Ruins, Paradise Beach, kan lum lagoon.
If you can go a bit further : Visit Akumal Beach for Turtles, Visit Sian Kaan and also Bacalar ! I would also recommend Chichen Itza and Coba ruins, there are many fantastic Cenotes nearby these two places too.
Make sure to also check : Kaab+lab (brunch)
Bar : Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar (great Mojitos)

Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive.
Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive. Taxi’s are costly. Food and drinks expensive on beach side but a little cheaper in town. Because it is a jungle there are a lot of mosquitos. Depending on what type of vacation you want Tulum has something for everyone. Just bring lots of money.

A trip to Tulum just got much easier with direct flights from the US to the new Tulum International Airport. Then, the best and most affordable way into town is the ADO bus. Get the app and buy a ticket in advance and you'll be sure to have a seat. From the pueblo of Tulum, you'll need to take a taxi to the hotel (about 4.5 miles). The hotel has rental bikes you can take into town or to the Tulum ruins. Otherwise you can just chill at the hotel. There are also a slew of tours you can go on and the hotel staff can help you pick the ones that you are most interested in. Complimentary breakfast each day and decent food for lunch and dinner. Full service bar as well. We would definitely return to Diamante K for another relaxing stay in the future.

Tulum is not at all bad, they are lots of cenotes to visit & swim in nearby, the beaches are cool the (free ones), but better on the paid side. The food downtown Tulum ,especially the taco stalls and seafood restaurants are excellent.Make sure you have cash on hand. Most spot dont take credit cards. The beach zone is not really pedestrian Friendly, but still lots of restaurants, shops & beach clubs,. Also do your research & the taxis are here to get your $$$$ kinda over price ,also alway haggle the price down.Over all it was a great escape.

Swimming in warm, clear water that is usually swimmable or floatable on most days for most swimmers is delightful. Sea bird watching is always very rewarding while on the beach. And, the food is sensational.
This is a stunning hotel on the edge of Tulums main beach front, the design of the hotel room is well thought out with ample space in each room. The fresh cent of the room stays with you long after you leave, fresh beach & shower towels were provided daily and it was in a very tranquil spot off the busy tulum street. The hotel staff were very attentive & friendly, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple looking to find a spot of peace and luxury in Tulum.
It was an absolute treasure meeting Apollonia the hotel cat.
The property is beautiful and you can walk to the right and be on the part of the beach not occupied by the hotel zone where it is quiet with hardly any people. I loved that.
The room is lovely and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly.
A/C, & the water in the shower isn't salty like a lot of places in Tulum.
The beach club is peaceful in the morning until it turns into the party in the afternoon, but there are separate sun beds for hotel guests when you want to get away from the main area.
Overall I loved it.
The hotel is unique and very authentic, make you feel the real Tulum, Mexico vibe. Its make you feel connected with the nature. From our rooms every morning we could see the wild life and very interesting species. The bottle of water in the room was refilled upon request. Staying in the hotel, allows us having free access to Orchid Beach House. Both Jungle and Beach Restaurants were good, we had couple of meals and cocktails. Very quite and romantic. The hotel was providing repellent in each of the rooms.
Very close to the restaurants, top hotels, Tulum iconic structures (Ahau), boutiques and bars. There are pharmacies, money exchange, and mini marts/grocery store near the property. There’s one cenote at the end of the road, and to the opposite far end you can find the Mayan ruins. There’s beach access, and the best part is Cuau, receptionist, was our resource all throughout. He gave his WhatsApp number, so it was very convenient to communicate with him.
Zenses hotel is a hidden gem in Tulum. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The jungle garden gives a very relaxed and natural vibe. Breakfast was excellent with many vegetarian options available. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They have a shower and bathroom which you can use once you check out in case you need it. The location is good next to the main street in town. The beach is easy to reach if you rent a bike or a scooter.
Quite possibly the most guilt-free luxury stay we've ever experienced. There are protected sea turtle nesting sites on the hotel beach next to the chairs, the rooftop hot tub gives an incredible view of the night sky (which has less light pollution than expected), and the surprise birthday dessert at breakfast was a bonus. If you want to treat yourself and your loved ones, we can scarcely think of a better place, in Tulum or any place else.
We stayed at Vida Boho for 5 days in March and I would probably rate it as the best hotel/apartment we stayed in Mexico. The apartments are brand new and wonderfully decorated. All is very clean and tidy and the staff was always responsive and ready to help you with tips and recommendations. I wouldn’t say it is cheap (as everything in Tulum- and that is the reason why tourism is decreasing) but it is definitely worth the price.
Stylish property with a lovely pool. The staff were lovely. The two young women on the front desk helped us out with perfect recommendations for beach clubs and cenotes. We enjoyed renting the bikes and using them to ride to the beach. The location is a bit out of the way, but we found it close enough to walk into Tulum town, where there are some great food options. Hotel was good value for Tulum.
This is the best location that you can get for this price in Tulum beach zone. In my opinion the south end of the hotel zone is the most beautiful! we enjoyed going to dos ceibas beach club that is across the street and walking distance to many restaurants and please go to the rooftop for the sunset. Mariano was very helpful and if you want any tips what to do in Tulum he is your guy.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel with wonderful restaurants, beautiful amenities including the gym and pools everywhere. The rooms are modern, spacious with Tulum design. Exceptional service and incredible beach club experience. The beach club is very trendy the staff is very helpful! I wish we could have stayed longer. Nice activities during the day such as yoga and aqua aerobics.
The garden bungalows were so great! I love how the location is on the beach. the place was super clean and the staff were the most helpful! this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in while on my trip to mexico. I cannot fault it! I would definitely recommend it and stay here myself again!
thank you for such a great stay Kai Tulum!
Chilled boutique hotel out of town but that wasn’t a problem! It is located in an area that is full of super cool bars and restaurants (less so touristy). One day, we hired bikes to get to tulum temple & the beach and another day, we hired a moped to get a cenote. The vibe and the interior were the top things about the hotel
The hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing that made our evening a little uncomfortable were the mosquitoes, but that's something to be reckoned with in Mexico. The price was higher, but everything is expensive in Tulum and our stay was very nice.
Amazing new hotel at South Beach Tulum area. Pretty close to all the restaurants. Beautiful cenote, clean and large room, service and hospitality was exceptional. They also had bikes for use which is awesome since the area is very long to walk on foot.
I loved this hotel. Its very quiet here and the beach is beautiful. Its a little away from the tulum city center and the beach clubs but that’s honestly okay because I like being away from the hustle and stuff sometimes to just relax ok the beach.
super nice and quite relaxing small boutique hotel. service and food from menu all very tasty and good. much better service as any other hotel we stayed in mexico. beds extremely comfortable. i would stay here again.
The accommodation was very nice and well located in the hotel zone in Tulum. You can walk to the beach via a neighboring hotel. The staff were super friendly and the roof terrace was fantastic.
Beautiful and very relaxed and relaxing hotel. I loved the area, which is in a quieter part of the town that still feels like a village. Tulum is a fun place to spend a few days.
Staff were very accommodating and friendly, very nice. Breakfast was great. Janet was the best. 15 minute car ride to central tulum and hotel zone 20 minutes.
