The staff was really friendly and accommodating, and great with our 4-year-old daughter. I definitely recommend the 4x4 tour to see the berber camp, the ruins, and the gnaoua music, that was a highlight. We really enjoyed our first night, being brought up to the top of a dune for sunrise. Erg Chebbi was magical as expected . . . Sahara Magic really only had to not ruin it, and they didn't, and in fact enhanced the experience. Food was very good. The pizza was a nice change, 2 weeks in morocco and mint tea, tajines, and harira start to wear on you.

Youssef took us to a wild jeep tour on the dunes: we loved it! very recommended!

Located in the South of Morocco, Palais du Désert and Spa is a luxurious castle-style hotel at the gates of Erfoud and close to the palmgrove. Everything. We needed a one night stay on the way to the desert and we didn’t want to leave. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed and truly spoilt. What a gem - truly the Gateway to the desert! :) :) :) Room, facilities and Food 11/10!!! Just a note - The Manager was helpful , informative and even offered to help us if we needed on our on going trip!!! Amazing customer service all round from reception to the bar to the restaurant!

We stayed with my little family at Riad Les Roches Marzouga, it has a great location on the edge of the desert, good facilities and the pool was very welcoming during the heat of the day. The owners were also very helpful - we went on a night excursion to the hotel's desert camp which was a nice trip - there was dancing, singing, Berber music and we also enjoyed the atmosphere and stargazing which we enjoyed very much.

Everyone was super nice and the experience was amazing! Starry skies, fire and music after dinner, the camel ride... the tents are huge (at least for what we were expecting) and I hadn't slept in such a big bed ever. Watching the sunrise was the cherry on top! Totally recommend the experience and this camp!

A very nice place to stay in the desert, right next to the sand dunes. The host, Ibrahim, was very kind, welcomed us with mint tea and snacks and helped us book activities. The camel ride at sunset was great, our guide Omar did his best to make the experience unforgettable.

Very nice hotel room inside of a kasbah complex at the very edge of the sand dunes and the desert. Easy keys collection from the reception desk. Clean and large room with the special desert feeling. Free car parking inside of the complex. Nice pool free of charge. Tasty breakfast with the view of the desert. Good location, easily accessible with a passenger car, some 5 minuets drive from the paved road. Strongly recommend for the unforgettable experience. Will stay there again when next time in the area. We had excellent stay in Riad Madu. The pool is really refreshing and there is a lot of places to relax. Food was great. The staff is extermly helpful and easygoing. They arranged us camel ride. The dunes are close, about 15-20 minutes of walking.

Riad Azawad is lovely. The staff is super polite and helpful. Our room was so spacious, almost like a little apartment. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The hotel has a nice pool and is right by the dunes. They made arrangements for a daytime tour which was fun and interesting. We also stayed in their desert camp. That was a good experience. Food was yummy and music was fun. Everything worked out very smoothly.

Best place to start your desert tour Apartment style accommodation is perfect. The cooking facilities are good and the rooms are clean. It's quiet and the breakfast is great. I would say this is the best accommodation in Hassilabiad. In particular, the staff is friendly and well managed. It's a great place to wake up early in the morning and explore around the oasis, and parking is easy. This is considered the best accommodation for the price. You can also order dinner at the hotel.
